TRUMP VS. HARVARD. AN APOLITICAL THOUGHT.

Don’t quit on me.  This is not a political statement.  It’s just idle musings.

The lawsuit between Trump and Harvard doesn’t make sense.  At least to me. There are too many things that Harvard and the President have in common.

Harvard is a leader among our country’s universities.

Trump is the leader of our country.

One produces educated minds who can contribute greatly to our country’s well-being and economic strength.

The other one hires some of those very same minds.  And for the very same reasons.

Since one leader can ultimately help the other, wouldn’t each ultimately want, and strive for, a common goal of excellence and cooperation?

Sadly, experience tells us that when two top dogs get into a scrap, it’s bound to get a little bloody.

Trump and Harvard are going to court when a simple handshake would be so much better.  Who gains from the ugliness that comes from all that? Not us, that’s for sure.
