“ONE MAN’S MEAT IS ANOTHER MAN’S POISON”

So says a paraphrase of principles in Romans 14 of the Bible.

And boy, oh boy, do I buy into that.

To wit, The Mister has been on a “life-saving pill” for the last five months.  His heart surgeries made it clear that without the drug, things would not heal well.

As of yesterday, and by absolute necessity, he’s off that drug

To return to the parable, the MEAT that was saving his life was also POISONING him. 

Things have been dicey over the last few months but we are hopeful. We’ll take it one day at a time but having hope back in our lives is a wonderful thing.

P. S. If any of you have sent me an email regarding the last two blogs, I have not received them. I love nothing more than hearing from any and all of you. We may have a computer glitch. Or we may just have an old “blogger.” Hope it’s the former. That can be fixed. Old bloggers cannot. They just curl up and go away.
