RETHINKING BREAKFAST.

Or not.

Last week’s blog asked if it was better to eat cereal or cookies for breakfast.  The outcome was clear.  Cereal, especially topped with fruit, was deemed to be far superior to my beloved, tasty and reliably delicious cookies.

But wait.......

I neglected to address the kind of milk one might put on his or her cereal.  That decision can be time-consuming, painful, stressful and confusing.

There are, it seems, endless options.

You’ve got your regular, skim, soy, oak, lowfat, organic, whole, coconut, almond, cream, goat, lactose-free, cashew, cow, hemp, pea, and last, but certainly not least, butter milks.  Whew.

But I have an quick answer for all of those considerations.  It comes in the form a little ditty my father taught me years ago.  It goes like this:

Here by the kitchen sink I stand.

A can of Borden’s in my hand.

            To tits to pull,

            No tails to twitch.

Just stick a hole in the sonofabitch.

Or you could just eat cookies and make life easy for yourself.
